First challenge to the 'big c2c walk' was John's announcement that the dates have changed to fit with a commitment at Southport Flower Show! Narrowly averted an Ofsted inspection to coincide with the new start date for our walk. Everything should go smoothly now as we limber up for the big one. I still have to prepare myself by watching Julia Bradbury's DVD of the path we are about to tred. Only other prep was doing the sandstone trail in Cheshire a few weeks ago - 36 miles in the day which is way more that the biggest day on c2c. John's dodgy knee held up and I managed to keep up. Just hope we old 'un's can keep it up day after day...
