Before we leave for home, a moment to draw our memories though a sketch of Robin Hood. We've said our goodbyes to the NZ4, Wainwright and the C2C, time now to return back to the Bolton and reality!
Steve contemplates letting the train take the strain. Is there enough steam in him though for the final shunt to the end of the track at Robin Hood Bay?
End of Day 12, 23miles today over the North York Moors. Sun, Wind, Rain and of course great company with the NZ4 (we will miss the friendly banter, chats and shared experience) Final treat was rainbow over Robin Hood Bay in the distance, that's tomorrow, and our final day of 18 miles to dip our feet in the North Sea. As for now our best BB treat with real coffee and cream tea served on arrival!
